Star Trek: Discovery will return for its fifth and final season in Spring 2024. The new season will premiere on Paramount+ and will find Captain Michael Burnham and the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery on a new adventure across the galaxy.
After four thrilling seasons of intergalactic exploration and groundbreaking storytelling, the USS Discovery and its intrepid crew are set to embark on their final voyage in the upcoming fifth and final season of “Star Trek: Discovery,” premiering on Paramount+ in April 2024.
To mark this momentous occasion, Paramount+ has released a tantalizing preview trailer that offers a glimpse into the extraordinary adventures that await the Discovery crew. In the trailer, Burnham and her allies encounter a formidable alien entity possessing the ability to cloak itself, leaving them in a state of heightened alert.
Showrunner Michelle Paradise has said that the fifth season of Star Trek: Discovery will be “a big, epic adventure that will tie up all of the loose ends from the past four seasons.” She has also said that the season will be “a love letter to the fans.”
